About The Project

The Project, LLC is comprised of an international team of twenty professional VRML and X3D artists and web developers representing France, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Germany, Denmark, Italy, and the United States. Organized by its founding manager "badgirl" The Project has gained the trust of many established organizations such as Blaxxun Interactive, and the 3D Web Consortium. The opening of Jewels of Indra is the first such 3D community effort of its kind. Jewel of Indra is truly a remarkable accomplishment by an outstanding group of individuals. Meet some of the key members of The Project below:

badgirl: CEO and Team Lead

In November of 2002, armed with only a dream, a business plan, a 127 page community outline, and a desire to create an unusual place where members could feel free to express and explore their sexual desires, badgirl began the journey of gathering the most talented and world renowned VRML/X3D developers, technical geniuses, and advisors from around the globe. In April 2005, thanks to the dedication of The Project team, she was to see her dream become a reality.

Tony: The Project Manager

Tony, who joined The Project team in July 2006 is one of the most talented developers ever to come to the virtual world environment. He has since become The Projects manager, overseeing day to day operations and driving the development and administration of the communities. His vision of bringing extra interaction and user based content into the communities is bringing the community ever closer to the real world, and his combination of project management, server administration and broad base of development skills make him a key member of the team.

doctragoz: Assistant Community Architect

Having received critical acclaim throughout the VRML community for his building and outstanding programming skills, doctragoz was recruited to The Project as a VRML designer in early 2003. During his tenure, doctragoz’s contributions have been too numerous to list. His perseverance, dedication and professionalism have earned him the respect of The Project team as well as developers world wide. As one of the key team leaders, doctragoz lends his goal oriented mind and numerous years of RL Management experience to The Project and his team of builders.

kurfuffler: Builder

Kurfuffler, who joined The Project team in 2005 has been involved in 3D communities for over 8 years and has been building for 6 of those. He brings his expertise to JOI in the form of a variety of 3D worlds and objects from stores to furniture to water fountains that reflect this level of experience, and is also responsible for the acceptance approval of all 3D objects into the world. Kurf lends his extended experience and abundant knowledge to various levels of the community development and ongoing growth.

Shadowtraveller: Human Resource Manager

Well known for her talent scout abilities, Shadowtraveller was recruited by The Project in early 2003. Her critical eye and keen nose for talent has been an essential key to the success of The Project and its ventures. Choosing superstars among the many brilliant developers who apply to work with The Project is not an easy task. Only the best of the best ever make it to the final team. However, Shadowtraveller’s unique skills have been instrumental in choosing the most elite VRML/X3D talent around the world. The exceptional products developed are directly related to the hiring choices she has made.

Chrysagon: Assistant Community Architect

Computer graphic instructor at a University in France, Chrysagon has been building virtual places since 1997. He first gained world-wide recognition and praise for his outstanding creation (Snake’s Tavern). Since joining The Project team in early 2003, he has built several places such as the Main Plaza, the Garnet Plaza, the Casino, and several homes. Jewel of Indra as well as other developments by The Project have benefited from Chrysagon’s unique talents and attention to detail.
